Geeking Up My House :D

So I have seen the WE DO GEEK signs everywhere! I love them. While my fiance is a huge gamer and anime/manga lover he isn’t always to keen on “geeking up” our new home. I have been allowed a hobbits eating schedule and a Zelda picture for over the keys, so I am trying to add geek in a simple way and I think this sign is awesome.

I couldn’t find one on Etsy that I really loved, some elements to me were missing, so on to photoshop I go. I added a bit of Jim Henson’s Labyrinth, DBZ, transformation sequence ( a nod to my favorite magical girl mangas :D), and Hocus Pocus.

I downloaded all the fonts from Dafont.com. I love this site and the creators of each amazing font. My poster is just for personal use and not for sale, but i thought I would share it with you because I love how it turned out!

Let Me know what you think 😀

TGIF and a DBZ Dictionary Page

I am really loving the idea of images being imposed onto vintage dictionary pages. So, I decided to look through some ideas and got a bit of inspiration. I wanted to make an image with LOVE. Also, a lot of my fiance’s friends and mine always call us Goku and Chi Chi. I found this really awesomeimage of them from their wedding and I found a vintage dictionary page for Love 😀

With a little bit of photoshop, I created this awesome image 😀

The Things I Wear to Work :D

He he the things I wear to work 😀

I love this shirt! I purchased it about 4 years ago, however I put on a bit of weight and it became a little tight in the chest area, I was super bummed. But then, I saw a buzz feed article on how to update old clothing. You can check out the DIY’s here —> 31 T-Shirt DIY’s

So after going through the list, I loved the idea of adding lace to the sides.
Here is a side shot showing off the added lace 😀

D.I.Y. Geeky Graphic Tank

I love Pinterest! The fact that I can find all different kinds of DIY ideas and tutorials, is awesome for when I am in a creative slump or super stressed, which is how I have been lately. So to keep my sanity, I decided to look through Pinterest for a small and fun DIY project for tops. I wear a lot of tanks to work, mainly because I am running around set like a crazy person and it can get really hot under the studio lights and in the building 😦

So as the title said, the DIY I found is how to make your own graphic tanks. To add some fun and creativity to the mix, I decided to create my own graphics, that have both geeky and fashion elements to them. I am just designing a whole bunch and then I will decide on which ones I am going to actually make.

So I tested the waters with one of my favorites 😀

DIY Idea – The Graphic Tank

Update —> DIY Geeky Graphic Tank

My Goodness, the last two weeks have been crazy busy with so many projects and photo shoots! Any who, to keep my sanity, I decided to look through the internet for a small and fun DIY project for tops.

I also own some cute tanks, that I am going to make patterns out of. So my custom shirts can be completely custom 😀

Here are some of the designs I have made so far 😀
